What matters beyond the Spouse Palace?

The Spouse Palace is a traditional starting point for intimate relationships, not a label for a partner. Its trines connect with Wellbeing and Travel, while Career is opposite. Together they offer questions about inner needs, shared environments and work-life arrangements. This page does not assume gender roles or treat one person's chart as a compatibility score for two people.

Birth details and calculation rules

Use your birth date, time and location. Solar or lunar dates, leap months, true solar time, Zi-hour day boundaries and Five Element Bureau options follow this site's chart rules. Near an hour boundary, verify the birth record and time correction before interpreting a palace.

Check true solar time and birth time

Enter birth time in UTC+8; convert overseas times and historical daylight saving first.

Calculate without signing in. Birth details are saved temporarily in this browser so you can continue; use the clear control below the form to remove them. Sign in when you want to save a chart or continue to a reading.

The chart and relevant palaces are free to view. Full readings use the existing credit rules; check pricing and your balance before continuing.

Read your result in this order

  1. Start with the Spouse palace and record its main stars, brightness and actual transformations; an empty palace still needs its opposite palace.
  2. Compare Wellbeing, Travel and Career for emotional needs, external circumstances and time or responsibility allocation.
  3. Ask one concrete relationship question using your experience. A single birth chart is not a two-person compatibility score.

Bring the reading back to daily interaction

Start with the Spouse Palace's major stars, their strength, supporting and challenging stars, and actual transformations. Then consider its trines and opposite. Translate symbols into questions you can discuss: How much time alone does each person need? How do you express support? What pressures come from work, distance or shared expenses? An empty palace needs its opposite for context, and a transformation does not guarantee an event. Real experience and both people's wishes matter more than star labels.

One birth chart is not a compatibility reading

This page calculates one person's birth chart. It cannot determine a wedding date, separation or a partner's fidelity, and does not replace a two-person chart comparison. Relationships require respect, consent and safety. A chart should never justify control, harm or inequality. For persistent conflict, consider trusted personal support or professional counseling.

Common questions

Do challenging stars or a Ji transformation guarantee a breakup?

No. Traditionally these symbols may frame questions about strain or interaction, but they require the whole chart and real context. They do not establish inevitable divorce, infidelity or inability to form a relationship.

Does an empty Spouse Palace mean I will never marry?

No. It only means no major star occupies this palace. Other stars, its position and the opposite palace still provide context. It does not prove either marriage or its absence.

Can my chart tell whether two people are compatible?

One birth chart can help organize your own relationship questions. Comparing two charts requires both people's details and clear consent. Even then, a complex relationship cannot be reduced to a guaranteed compatibility score.

Sources and limits of the method

This page uses the traditional twelve palaces and their trine and opposite relationships as a cultural framework for reflection. Historical social assumptions and deterministic judgments are not adopted. These sources do not establish predictive accuracy.
