Ziwei natal Four Transformations lookup: the ten-stem table

Select the natal year stem shown in your chart to find its four transforming stars. Then return to the chart to locate their palaces and combinations. A star list alone cannot establish a personal reading.

Use your birth details, then compare your chart with this guide. Basic results need no login.

Reading Lu, Quan, Ke and Ji

Traditional readings often use Lu to discuss resources and ease, Quan for initiative, authority and responsibility, Ke for recognition and order, and Ji for attachment, obstruction and costs. These are interpretive prompts rather than guarantees of money or misfortune. The palace, accompanying stars and timing layer change what a statement could reasonably address.

Identify the stem before using the table

This tool accepts a stem; it does not calculate your birth-year boundary. Here the natal stem comes from the Four Pillars year and changes at Start of Spring. Other Ziwei tools may change the year at Lunar New Year. Between those dates, align the year convention first: two tools can use identical tables yet select different rows.

State the actual table and its variants

The project’s Go engine fixes the table below. For Geng it uses Tai Yang Lu, Wu Qu Quan, Tai Yin Ke and Tian Tong Ji. For Ren, Ke is Zuo Fu. Circulating Ziwei Doushu Quanshu texts and placement references have variants, including Tian Fu for Ren Ke and differing Geng Ke/Ji assignments. Record the four actual entries when comparing tools; a school name alone does not establish table identity. This lookup neither switches nor mixes tables.

Example: Jia gives Tai Yang Ji, not necessarily Life Ji

Jia returns Lian Zhen Lu, Po Jun Quan, Wu Qu Ke and Tai Yang Ji. This identifies transforming stars only. Tai Yang’s palace depends on the complete chart input. Without birth month, day, hour and bureau information, this lookup cannot locate it or label Life as carrying Ji. Supporting stars Wen Chang, Wen Qu, Zuo Fu and You Bi also appear in the project’s transformation table.

Natal and palace-stem transformations have different sources

Natal transformations use the birth-year stem. Palace-stem tracing starts from a selected palace’s stem and locates each transforming star in the chart. The table may be the same, but a Ji emitted from a palace stem is not natal Ji. The existing flying-palace tool reuses the Go table and needs a real chart to locate paths; a self-transformation or trace limit is not a reason to extend a chain indefinitely.

How this reference is checked

The ten rows were exported from Go GetSiHua and checked against the existing cross-platform golden data. The linked traditional text and another implementation’s placement reference help identify terminology and convention differences. Citation does not claim coverage of every school or validate historical predictions for modern personal decisions.

Keep three layers separate

Birth-year transformations use the birth-year stem. Palace-stem flying transformations start from a selected palace stem. Annual transformations use the selected year stem. Keep the source stem and layer visible when comparing results; the same transformed star does not make the three methods interchangeable.
