menu_book紫微斗数起源

Ziwei Doushu is traditionally attributed to Chen Tuan of the Northern Song period. It takes 紫微星 as a central reference and organizes a reading through the 命盘, 十二宫, 星曜, 四化, and timing systems.

Its historical origin has several traditional accounts. In practical study, it is best treated as a cultural system whose methods and interpretations developed across multiple schools.
